More farmers than ever are now buying and selling online, mirroring the universal growth of e-commerce across the economy.

52% of farmers are now buying or selling online, according to our Marketing to Farmers report. Highlighting a 148% increase since 2015.

These statistics mirror the whole UK economy, as shown by the ONS. Internet sales now account for 27.9% of all retail sales in the UK, compared to only 12.5% in 2015. That’s a whopping 223% increase!

If you’re trying to sell to farmers, have you prioritised your online presence? Are you maximising the growing customer base on the internet?
