Client Success Manager

We’re looking for a passionate Client Success Manager to build strong relationships, drive business strategies, and manage accounts within the agricultural sector.

Client Services

The Role

As our Client Success Manager, you’ll take the lead across a portfolio of clients, becoming their main point of contact and trusted adviser. The focus is on building strong, long term relationships, setting clear expectations, and spotting ways to help them grow. It’s less about overseeing the day to day details of delivery and more about steering the bigger picture and making sure clients feel confident in the direction we’re heading.

You’ll sit at the centre of the relationship between our clients and our team, keeping everyone aligned and moving towards the same goals. You’ll review digital marketing activity, make sense of the numbers, and turn campaign performance into clear, practical recommendations that keep things on track and delivering results.

Our work goes beyond chasing clicks or surface level metrics. We focus on commercial return, making sure campaigns contribute to pipeline, sales and long term growth rather than just looking good on a report.

About Us

Hillsgreen is a digital marketing agency built specifically for the agricultural and rural sector. We pair genuine sector knowledge with our own audience insight and a real understanding of rural businesses to help our clients grow in a way that makes commercial sense.

We exist to connect agriculture and champion rural businesses, helping them win more work and build stronger brands. As a team, we value curiosity, straight talking, respect and doing the job properly. Join us and you’ll be part of a close knit, supportive environment where you’re trusted to develop, push yourself and make work that has a real impact.

Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of key digital channels, including paid media, organic social, email marketing, SEO, content marketing, marketing automation and analytics.
Understand how different channels support distinct commercial objectives such as lead generation, brand growth, customer retention and revenue.
Advise clients on how digital activity fits within wider business strategy, sales processes and growth plans.
Interpret campaign performance data and assess effectiveness against agreed KPIs.
Evaluate return on investment and guide clients towards commercially sound decisions.
Challenge underperformance constructively and recommend strategic adjustments.
Collaborate with internal specialists to ensure strategy aligns with delivery, without being responsible for hands-on execution.

Client Partnership and Strategy:

Act as a trusted strategic partner, proactively reviewing campaign performance and identifying opportunities to improve results through strategic adjustments.
Analyse data to interpret marketing outcomes, make ROI-focused recommendations, and align efforts with client business goals.
Identify potential bottlenecks or challenges within client-side processes (e.g. sales pipelines) and consult clients on how to address these effectively.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategic marketing insights with campaign execution, ensuring all activities support measurable outcomes.
Communicate strategic recommendations across the team and secure buy-in for new or adjusted approaches.
Work closely with internal marketing teams to co-develop and refine overarching strategies, ensuring all client activity aligns with measurable outcomes and long-term objectives.

Strategic Communication:

Lead client meetings (weekly, monthly, and quarterly), presenting results, insights, and actionable recommendations.
Translate internal team updates into client-friendly communications that simplify complex marketing concepts.
Address client concerns promptly, escalating only when necessary, to maintain trust and smooth collaboration.

Account Growth and Profitability:

Manage budgets to keep accounts profitable while delivering exceptional value.
Drive contract renewals and maintain high client retention.
Track metrics of success, including client growth and satisfaction.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal marketing teams to ensure seamless project delivery that aligns with client goals.
Act as a liaison, ensuring both client expectations and internal resources stay in sync.
Provide clear direction and leadership to ensure smooth workflows and outcomes.

Administration and Reporting:

Keep CRM and project management tools up-to-date with client records, job tracking, and financials.
Oversee monthly reporting, delivering concise, actionable insights to clients.
Review deliverables to ensure they meet Hillsgreen’s high standards and client expectations.
Work with the Head of Relationships to refine and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for client management.
