Meet Steph

Hi, I’m Steph and I’m really excited to have joined the Hillsgreen team as an Account Manager. I’ve worked in digital marketing for over 10 years and have a wealth of experience when it comes to developing and implementing campaigns that generate great results. My most recent position was Head of Marketing and Membership at the UK’s largest membership organisation for private residential landlords.

Having grown up on my family’s dairy farm in Cheshire, I’ve always had an interest in rural life and an awareness of the issues and challenges that impact people working within agriculture. Whilst my educational interests led me to an exciting career in marketing, I still live next door to my family farm, and I regularly help my dad out when he needs an extra pair of hands.

In my spare time you will often find me in the park with my two-year-old daughter, or out walking in the beautiful countryside with my dog. I also enjoy making home improvements and love nothing more than picking up a screwdriver or paint brush and tackling a weekend DIY project.

I’m looking forward to getting to know our clients, understanding more about the different marketing challenges and goals our clients have, and demonstrating how our team at Hillsgreen always rise to the challenge and achieve the very best outcomes.

Meet Lottie

Hey there! I’m Charlotte (otherwise known as Lottie) and I’m thrilled to have joined the Hillsgreen team as a PR and Content Manager.

I bring a variety of experience across equine, agriculture and news industries in both digital marketing and journalism. Alongside my degree, the initial stages of my career saw me as a Marketing and Communications Assistant at The British Horse Society, followed by Editorial Assistant at British Horse magazine. As a young and budding 21-year-old, these positions gave me great exposure to the world of marketing, feature writing and news, as well as having the opportunity to conduct a variety of interviews on and off camera. One of my favourite moments was interviewing Martin Clunes at the Royal International Horse Show after a few Pimm’s!

Following an MA in multimedia journalism I found myself freelancing as a radio journalist at Bauer Media and Global radio, covering both urban and rural patches across the West Midlands. I have a huge love for both radio and podcasts and during my degree I even had my own drive-time radio show! As much as I loved these opportunities, I decided that my true passions lay within agriculture and digital marketing. My most recent job position saw me as Digital Marketing Manager at Buitelaar Group, another great opportunity to develop a wide variety of marketing campaigns and manage a digital marketing strategy.

Although my background is not conventionally agricultural, I was brought up with horses and the countryside, so for me this is where I feel the most content and at home. Outside of work you’ll most likely find me on the back of a horse, at the gym or enjoying long walks with my bonkers labradoodle Fearne.

I’m now super excited to start a new journey and bring my skills to both Hillsgreen and our clients too.
