A little bit about me
Hi, I’m Chloe. I am excited to have recently joined team Hillsgreen as a Marketing Assistant.
Whilst I am not a farmer, my rural upbringing and connection with agriculture have given me an appreciation of the industry. I am an active member of Cheshire Young Farmers and love making the most of the endless opportunities that this community provides. I am currently county netball captain, organising 12 teams each week, and will become the Chairlady for Congleton next year! These opportunities haven’t just helped me competitively and socially, but have provided me with invaluable and transferable skills that can help me in my chosen career.
I always wanted to follow a vocational route after leaving school but was never truly certain what it was that I wanted to do. Upon completion of my A-levels, I started my first full-time job as an Administration Assistant in a solicitor’s office, moving into marketing for the last couple of months. I handled day-to-day admin duties, had regular communications with clients and it was here I learnt the importance of responsibility and commitment. I stayed with the company for just over a year and whilst I discovered that the legal sector wasn’t for me, I thoroughly enjoyed the marketing role that I fulfilled.
When I saw a marketing opportunity in an agricultural and rural agency, I decided that this could be the next best move for myself and my career. The idea of being able to work somewhere with a similar culture to where I spend my spare time and being able to develop in a role that I enjoyed sounded like an ideal career suited to me.
So, here I am now, learning all things Hillsgreen, working towards a qualification in Digital Marketing and growing as an individual! I have loved my first month working with the Hillsgreen team and I am looking forward to the future with Hillsgreen.
