A little bit about me…
Hi, I’m Bethan and I have recently joined the Hillsgreen team as an Account Manager. I am a farmer’s wife and mammy to my beautiful baby girl. Born and Raised in County Durham on the family farm; agriculture is, and always will be in my blood.
My life has taken many different paths, from training in Musical Theatre to studying Agriculture at Askham Bryan College, all the way to entering the dairy industry with my now husband.
My passion for the dairy industry started to bloom ever since I entered the sector back in 2015. My husband and I took on a smallholding on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border where my passion for dairy continued to grow! Here we reared pedigree Holstein heifers.
If heifer rearing wasn’t enough, I have also grown a career within the marketing sector. My career has brought me to work in a variety of sectors, such as bovine breeding, agriculture buildings, and precast concrete. I have previously worked within a global marketing team for a breeding company, allowing me to develop my skills in several areas of marketing and developing my understanding of the wider process of marketing and how it plays a crucial part in each business. In my spare time I love to show cattle at local and national shows with my own jersey prefix and shared Holsteins.
What I bring to Hillsgreen
I am really excited about my next chapter here at Hillsgreen. I bring knowledge of the livestock industry with me and previous work experience with different countries allowing me to understand how similar but different agriculture can look through different eyes.
