Suzanne approached Hillsgreen with a unique challenge. She’s had years of experience and expertise working in rural accountancy, and her name and reputation was well known… but as part of a larger accountancy firm. It was now time for her to set-up on her own with a new, independent practice, but she wasn’t sure where to begin.


The brand has been hugely popular and the website has had a real impact already. Suzanne has already expanded to a team of four and has never been busier with clients.

As we continue to promote the business on social media and write new blogs demonstrating their expertise, Brightshire are reaching a wider audience of potential clients, website traffic is growing and the team are finding their diaries completely full!

How we did it

The first thing Suzanne needed was an identity. Her individual reputation was well known, but she wanted to build a business that could grow beyond her. So we invited her and her operations manager to Hillsgreen HQ for an inspirational branding workshop.

Using a variety of tools, we helped them find their unique tone of voice, discovered how they wanted their brand to look and feel, and came up with an exciting new name for them – Brightshire – that evoked their personality, their approach to accounting, and their rural roots.

After creating the brand and designing a fresh and engaging logo, we knew we had to implement it effectively. To launch Brightshire, we ran a series of adverts in local press alongside a social media campaign to really spread the word. We designed a range of offline assets for Brightshire to promote themselves at local events, whilst we set to work creating their bespoke website to give them a strong online presence too.

In August 2019 we launched the brand new Brightshire brand – on and offline – just a month after we first got together with Suzanne.
