Weddings are big business. Although Heaton House Farm diversified from a family run dairy farm to a stunning countryside wedding venue many years ago, competition from other venues has grown rapidly recently. In an extremely competitive industry where couples shop around, they needed to increase the quality of their enquiries, engage visitors, and tell the story of their incredible farm.
They also had to maintain and their visibility online, grow their social presence, and stand out as a one-of-a-kind place to get married.
The overall goal for Heaton House Farm since we started working them over three years ago has always been the same – more enquiries and more weddings booked. But as we increased traffic through highly effective blog and landing page content and a superb paid search campaign, the challenge became more complicated.

With the website generating a continual stream of leads, we then turned our attention to increasing visibility for the Heaton House Farm domain. Following a series of Google updates, this meant a radical re-think of search intent and saw us re-structuring the website to deliver a highly optimised approach and a strong focus on providing the information couples planning a wedding are looking for.
By focusing on different wedding types across the Heaton House website, with new landing pages, targeted blogs and ‘real life’ stories, we’ve been able to showcase the stunning wedding venue and attract a wide demographic of couples planning their dream wedding.
Regular, highly focused website content has increased visibility and organic traffic, targeted messaging on PPC ads has boosted traffic, and a highly successful social campaign has supported conversions for Heaton House Farm. They’ve never had more enquiries or more bookings in all their years of operation.
